Have you ever had

by StefQ   May 10, 2006

Have you ever had,
The feeling of being alone
Like there's nobody there to help
But you can't do it on your own

Have you ever had,
The desire to end your life
The desire to run to the kitchen
And cut yourself with the knife.

Have you ever had,
The fear of losing something
So precious to you that
To save it you'd do anything.

Have you ever had,
The need for silence and peace
To try and set everything right
Or at least set your mind at ease

Have you ever had,
The feeling called jealousy,
A feeling that makes
Any burden you carry even more heavy

Have you ever had,
The desire to be blind,
So you can't see all the pain caused
So it can no more torture your mind

Have you ever had,
The fear of a nightmare coming true,
Wishing you'd never wake up
Like death is sleeping next to you

Have you ever had,
The need of being mindless
So for at least one moment you wouldn't
Think about this pain, that\'s so endless...

This poem makes it easy for people to relate to, though there were some parts that if you reread it you can seewhere you might be able to take some words out here and there. And when I got to the knife part I thought it wa sgoing to be another cutting poem, luckily it wasn't. But either way, good writing as usual.
