The Ice Cream Dream
Is just a myth
But it will make you scream
And never want Ice Cream

They say it is fake
But people have seen it
And can't sleep
Is this all just a mistake?

Or is this real?
Come with me
And we'll see
What's the big deal?

Walk with me
Here we are
Don't flee
You'll scare him

You ask, "scare who?"
The Ice Cream Man
And his crew
We're here

This is where it all began
Where The Ice Cream Man
Began his quest
To death

He stepped out of his truck
And licked his Ice Cream
At this very spot
And then he croaked

How can this be?
Is this Real?
Or was it a Dream?
Nobody knows

From that day on
He comes and goes
To his abandon truck
To find Innocent children at play

Look at me
Guess who?
Tis me
The Ice Cream Man

Mwahahahahahahahaha

    I love the twist in the tale. I liked the way yoiu draw in the reader with the ice cream fable which really adds to the imagery.
    Wonderfully masterful piece.

    Hats off to you icecream man for this chilling yet thrilling wirte! Yet another unique write straight from you! Your flow was kind of rocky.... Maybe you could have somone read your poem out loud and take note to where their voice goes kind of funny or they stutter.... It'll let you know exactly where your loosing it! I hope this helps because it always helps me when I hand a poem to a friend, not only do i know where to change my flow but they can also sugest some nice changes that you've never even thought of! Still this is a wonderful peice and truly deserves more than a 5/5 You hit it WAY out of the ball park with this one!
