Have you ever

by Bitten by frost   May 18, 2006

Have you ever had a man look through you?
Although you know he's not looking at all.
You could speak and he'd look like he listens,
But really he cannot hear you at all.

Have you ever had a girl walk by you?
Having wished she had crossed the street.
Watched as she stares at the ground below,
Not wanting your eyes to meet.

Have you ever seen your life's reflection?
And hated the person you saw
For every move, every word, every breathe you take,
You distresses existence once more.

Have you ever watched the sun rise in the morning?
And despised how it's risen again.
The pain in your heart, having been torn apart
But the sun won't acknowledge your sin.

Have you ever seen what i see,
lived a day of your life like me
