End of the (school) year poem

Today we said goodbye
and spoke our final words
we gave our last hugs
and cried afterwards
We promised to keep in touch
and call every day...
to never forget the times
we laughed and we played
But as we pursue our own dreams
we will most likely grow apart
never talk again
and leave eachothers hearts
And even though we might not ever see eachother face to face
or talk ever again
i wanted to thank you
for being my friend!
