My thoughts roll down in his tears

I look at him,
slowly breaking apart at his tear filled eyes
How it crushes my heart,
to see him cry

I just want to hold him,
guard him from every fear
I'd die over and over again,
just to save his every tear

The desire of setting raindrops on fire crosses my heart,
when i see him in pain
The sun shines with darkness,
when his tears leave a stain

I'd pull the sky down,
to shelter him in
To hide him from these sorrows,
I'd commit every sin

I drown in every tear,
that rolls down his cheek
I hate listening to those
muted wishes they leak

The realities of life,
I don't always understand
But even when my heart is shattering,
I want to give him a hand...
