Freedom

by ~Black*Rose~   May 25, 2006

As you sit here safe and sound
Another soldier is killed,
Or maybe an innocent child,
But what you don't see won't hurt you,
So keep living your life and saying we don't need this war,
Because what you don't see is all of the murder,
You don't have to see the dead Bodies of innocent people,
No you don't see the death and pain,
All you see is People protesting and hating us,
But what about the ones who need and want us there.
You don't have to worry about being killed every minute,
Our soldiers run from Bullets and Grenades,
You have a bed to sleep in,
They lay on the ground for a 5 minute nap, and if they wake up,
They are one of the lucky ones.
Go ahead March and protest,
Picket and make petitions,
Do and say whatever you want,
About this war, and these soldiers,
Just remember
They are the reason you are here,
They fight for your right to hate them.
