Too Many Times, Now I'm Gone

by Kristina   May 27, 2006

Too many times,
I've believed in you,
Too many times,
I thought I trusted you,
Too many times,
You lied to me,
Too many times,
You just sat and watched me cry,
Too many times,
You weren't there for me,
Too many times,
You walked away,
Too many times,
You let me down.

Now I'm gone,
I don't need you.
Now I'm gone,
I've moved on.
Now I'm gone,
I don't need no more of your lies.
Now I'm gone,
Because of what you did.
Now I'm gone,
And I won't come back to you.
Now I'm gone,
I've found someone new.
Now I'm gone,
And I hate you.

I liked the style of this one better. It got the point across and put a lot of enphasis when you repeated the lines. I enjoyed that part the best. 4.

Excellent job on this. I don't usually like repetition poems, but this one was really good. I loved it because it's something that I am somewhat going through right now. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to read more from you!

Great Structure! I liked how this poem is unique, the layout and some of the words... it was brillant. I loved how you transitioned, and I loved how it was expressed. I love it! Great Job, 5/5

I liked it. I went through this w/ many friends and a few boyfriends. When i first read the repetition I was thinking it was going to get old, but it didnt. You made it work! Great writing!
