Do i know you?

by smile   May 28, 2006

Sit down,
Stand up,
Brace your self,
As you take a run up.

Tell the truth,
Try not to lie.
Close your eyes,
As you rest down to die.

Now that your gone,
Look at the way,
They all think they knew you
Before you passed away.

The kid over there,
Crying to himself,
Says that he loved you,
Knowing he couldn't of cared less.

There was only one,
Who really knew,
Saw your pain
That person is you.

just a poem about how no body really knows you, how the only person you can truely trust is yourself.
and death is kinda instant fame, in a sick sadistic way, they all want to know the kid that died.

I think that this poem is very well written, I've read lots of poems and this is yet one of the best. The things that i like about your poems is that they talk about truthful things.
