Green eyed monster (part 2)

I try to help friends
friends who have been friends for years
I can�t just walk away
from a friend in need

my friend says go
be with the one you love
I say I can�t leave you
so I stay and be a friend

but being a friend has a price
I may have realized something
I think the extent of a problem
jealousy has taken mind over body

she has driven me mad
though I still love her
with all my heart
but how can I stay

with someone like her
who want me, too much
I need friends too
does it matter the sex??
