Poetry, A saviour

by Black Princess   May 30, 2006

Every poem written,
is a story of its own,
a fight of struggles and adversities
this is a teenagers emotional home.

Somewhere to discuss the things,
that are tearing us apart,
somewhere where we cant be judged
when we empty out our hearts.

We get the choice of whether
we want our lives to be exposed,
we decide upon the option,
if we want anyone to know.

A stupid piece of paper,
could be a savior to many,
if no one else will listen
paper holds the story of many.

You cant get judged by something
that is unable to talk back,
but it listens to how your feeling,
and lets you read your emotion back.

It gives you a constant reminder
that sometimes its easier than most,
to let out how your feeling
to release your deadly ghost.

And if you have no one else,
in whom you can confide,
bring out your notepad or diary,
there is no reason for you to hide.

Let yourself be free,
write down how you feel.
Its just a reminder
that this is all so real.

It is just a release,
so let yourself go,
write down your world
remember, no one will know.
