The Story of the Two Best Friends

These two best friends were very close,
You could even say they were Sisters.
They said they'd be best friends forever,
And so they were for two years.

They did everything together,
They shared tears,
Laughter,
And so many great memories.

Everyday they would see each other,
And not once did they get annoyed.
They were meant to be togetherâ?¦
They made each other so happy.

They grew stronger and stronger each day,
And went through good and bad days.
No secrets were kept hidden inside,
As they both felt safe with each other.

When everything was going extremely well,
One of them had to move away.
They were now separated by kilometres and kilometres
And the other friend was lonely and missed her other half so much.

Every night she cried herself to sleep,
Looking at photos and listening to â??theirâ?? songs.
She started getting depressed
And felt that there was no point of living.

School started, and the friends were reunited,
But something was different, something was wrong.
They no longer told each other their secrets
So they stayed hidden in the darkness of depression.

What the best friends were yet to discover were the scars on each others bodies.
They were both victims of depression.
The one that moved away got back on track and got on with her life
But the other was still left in the dark hole.

It was great to see the best friend that moved away make new friends,
But as for the other, she wishes they could be back to normal.
They were supposed to be Friends to the End and get an apartment together
But will the friendship of the two best friends last forever?
