Mixed Emotions

I'm surrounded by so many people,
In this big crowded room,
But I still feel so lonely,
Like no one is near me.

I don't know why,
I feel like I do,
With so many people,
Who tell me they love me and care.

I just don't believe them,
Cause I've believed too many lies,
Got my heart broken,
And now all I do is cry.

My dreams are fading,
They will never come true,
My heart is pounding,
Cause I'm thinking about you.

    This is a really nice poem. I really like the ending. The rhymes were ok, but 'lies' and 'cry' was a bit off. But yeah, good job!
