Dangerous Dreams

by PygmyPuff   Jun 9, 2006

Always causing pain,
Beside the table of lost hope.
Calling for selfish desires,
Dictated by ones inner wishes.

Edging towards insanity,
Failing to understand.
Getting away with murder,
Hoping it's a dream for sure.

Inside your mind it's cluttered,
Jerking your lies from reality,
Killing that sense of belonging,
Leaving only insanity on the surface.

Many people mistake the knowledge for fantasy,
Neglecting their safe havens.
Open minds are the answer,
"Push away, break free" says the Wise Old Man.

Quarantined by the madness,
Remembrance of his death is the excuse.
Silenced by the public's concern
Taking fear to a new level of denial.

Under the pain of the maze,
Verification of the return falsified,
Warnings ignored with false hope,
Yearning for the future's justification.
