My Love, We cant be Friends

I'll look in your eyes one last time
Holding your hands tightly in mine
Scared that I may loose you forever
But I can not let this rule my life

Ive been thinking with my heart
When it should have been my head
Wondering how I would get over
The heartache that lies ahead

But a heart can break
And with time begin to mend
Though I don't know if it will
If you and I remain friends

Because I know I still love you
And im quite sure you do too
You may think its possible
but its something weve already been through

Instead of ruining what we have
Lets just walk away from chance
Look into my eyes
And always remember our last glance
