Who are we trying to deceive
You don't even respect me
I wish you would just leave

You never tell me the truth
I only get your lies
You don't even feel remorse
When tears fall from my eyes

Instead you get angry
And tell me to stop
Staring in udder disgust
As they continue to drop

I just want you to hold me
And let me know that you care
But I am reaching out
To a man who's not there

And you try to say sorry
When you are in need
But I am not stupid
I see past your greed

I don't deserve this treatment
You know you are unfair
Then you try to tell me I am special
But lately I don't care

You say its because I question
Every little thing you do
But I wouldn't be searching
If what you said was true

I thought that you loved me
At one time I really felt lucky
But then I had the realization
One day it struck me

We are not a pair
Our foundation is weak
I don't want to listen to your excuses
You are tired of hearing me speak

We cant even spend one hour
without the sense of betrayal
I didn't want to admit it
But our relationship has failed

No matter what we do
To try to fix whats been broken
You told me I was a mistake
I gave up when this was spoken

And i'm so tired of fighting
That I just now string along
I continue to see you
Even though it feels almost wrong

Because despite what you tell me
You'll continue to lie
You don't think about hurting me
Or how you make me cry

And each day it kills my spirit
But this you don't worry about stopping
You choose to kill our love
Instead of the tears dropping
