Memory

by May   Jun 13, 2006

My head is spinning
swirling with emotions
of a memory long past
lapping softly like the oceans

Looking back now
craning my neck
for a better view
of the reality check

My parents were both crying
I have never felt so bad
as when I saw
those tear stains on my strong Dad

Feeling as helpless
as I have ever felt
wondering how to deal
with this tragedy dealt

Moving closer
coming all to each other
my family bonded
mourning my baby brother

    ....very emotional.
    very well written.
and very soothing ...in its very own way....
    very well done, May!
