Two Lovers Entwined

by Simon Hayes   Jun 16, 2006

Mutter softly your delicate dreams
In fields of corn, where sunlight beams
Caress the day, endure the night
Awaken gently into the light
Two lovers entwined

Share with me this crimson wine
Upon your lips, so smooth, divine
Walk with me, along the sand
Embrace this moment, hold my hand
Two lovers entwined

Empower me with true love's kiss,
Fill my soul with heavenly bliss
Trace your love upon my heart
Prove to me we'll never part
Two lovers entwined

Mutter softly your delicate dreams
Caress the day, endure the night
Share with me this crimson wine
Walk with me along the sand
Empower me with true love's kiss
Trace your love upon my heart
Two lovers entwined

Beautiful poem Simon. Your lady is very lucky to have someone who can express himself so eloquently.

That was such an enchanting entrance, and it liked it the best out of all the stanzas. The repepition was so beautiful and soft. The entrie poem was so delightfully romantic.
    A wonderfully beautiful poem!
