Edisto Romance (Part 1)

These are feelings and events leading up to the Edisto Romance. I don't know how many will be in the ER series, but i have part 2 up. It looks like there will be atleast 5. This my first series hope you enjoy it. All Based on a true story.

I took a trip to Edisto
I needed time to reflect
A deep feeling of loneliness
That no one could detect.

A feeling I\'ve been keeping
Bottled up inside of me.
When it made an appearence
I\'d runaway and flee

I\'d where a mask of glass
So no one else could see.
I\'d play the role of what i thought
Everyone wanted me to be.

I have the love of my family,
But what of a women\'s touch.
A life without a womens love
Is confined to a permanent cruch.

So i left for Edisto
In search of what i didn\'t know,
But the feeling inside
Continued to grow.

The sun just started to set
When i pulled into the drive
I ran up to the balcony,
And for the first time i felt alive.

I was living in the moment,
With the sun on my face,
Just me in my own little world
and in my own little space.
