She sits and waits for love....

She sit alone up in her room again
as silent tears fall from her eyes,
Trying to understand why she hurts,
wanting to ignore all of their lies,

People say every girl is a princess,
this is what I used to believe,
but her life is not a fairy tale,
pain is all that she'll ever receive,

They shout, scream & curse at her,
this happens almost every day,
She hopes that she will disappear,
wishing that she could fade away,

She locks the door to feel safer,
but knows they will kick it in again,
so she sits in front of it shaking,
listening to the sound of the rain,

Another day slowly goes by,
she's trying hard to fight and cope,
but she's losing her will to hold on,
she no longer has any hope,

Needs to know someone loves her,
and she's frightened all on her own,
She needs to see that friendly face,
that says you're not on your own

She sat there in her room again,
for the last time she ever cried,
Nobody wanted to help her through,
and that night she eventually died....

    I most definitely loved it, weather you think it was one of your best or not, doesnt matter because I and Many other ppl im sure would agree with me, it was definitely a best!!! it reminded me of me, you have great emotion and expressed your words deeply!! your a great writer, keep it up hun!

    Hey um I liked the poem it hit a cold spot in my life and things that happen if this is real for you remember that eventually things get better people see you for who you are, and sure things feel shitty for a while but things happen when they are supposed to. I sat in my room for 3years and 7 mounths like that then I met my best friend and got to understand alot more about life and stuff. and believe me things will get tough agian I'm copeing with the high possiblity of cancer surgery and not seeing the man I love for weeks or mounths.
