My Sanctuary

My sanctuary,
Is in your heart,
Where a piece of me resides.
All of my fear means nothing,
When I am here
I am free.
The darkness leaves,
And gives me peace.
Though I would take the form
Of darkness itself,
If I could save you...
If I could just be with you.
I need true emotion...
A heart with more than hate.
I need,
To be with you.
My sanctuary.

*For those of you that play KH2, as you could probably tell, that was my inspiration for this poem*

    KH2 has some pretty good imagery.

    Wow! As soon as I was in the middle of your short but powerful poem I thought of Kingdom Hearts. lol, that was beautiful how you used it as an inspiration. I love the series of that game, and how you used it in a poem. Very unique! keep it up!
