Giving up

I give up world, and this time I swear
Never again to try to fix things any where
Try no longer to help and save
I tried and failed, now I am filled with rage

There is no longer a light inside the tunnel
Issues have now bottle necked like a funnel
Heart was open to all and everything
Now my blackened heart will no longer sing

Exhausted from feeling like my worth is none
Fighting an inner war is now over and done
No longer will I care for those in deep despair
Sadly when I try it seems they go no where

Matt my darling whom my being so loves
I wish you could handle me like a surgeon with gloves
Truth be told that neither you can fix me
What is it when you look at me do you see?

My purpose in life I once believed was to save
All those who hurt and are in deep dismay
I have come to this point where I feel I am not enough
So again I say this is me giving up
