Why is life so hard?
You think everything is going great,
and then all of a sudden
you fall flat on your face.

I was in love with a guy
I wished he would talk to me,
just answer my calls,
then one day he did.

I said hi.
He said hi
I said something stupid
he made fun of me.

I thought that secretly,
he was in love with me
well, he wasn't
he doesn't care

I used to dream that one day
he would confess his love
why am I so stupid?
why is love so blind?

I sit here on my windowsill
watching cars go by
I wonder if I jump far enough,
will all my dreams disappear
