Taste Of Death

Behind The Gun In Your Hand
Remorse Depletes The Trigger
As You Turn The Gun Around
With The Back You Hit Her

And Though Blood Spirals Out
And Runs On Down Her Face
It Burns Me Inside To Know
That This Was All Of Hate

Her Life Shivering In The Balance
At Hands Of Colder Hearts
Flashing Life Memories
Of a Life Death Ripped Apart

Sun Shinning Aimlessly
Exposing Warmer Blood
Heated By Hateful Wounds
He Killed Her Just Because

Strangle Wounds Caress Her Neck
As He Stole Her Favorite Pearls
Slapped Her Around A Bit
And Raped Her Little Girls

And Through Eyes Of Steel
He Managed No True Guilt
Felt No Remorse At All
For The Mother That He Kilt

Dripping Down a Face Of Sweat
Hands Locked In Steel Cuffs
I Could See Him Yearn a Bit
As If It Wasn't Enough

Murderers Now Are Common
In a World So Cruel And Sad
I Guess Its Kind Of Different Though
When Killers Are Your Dad

Rapping My Baby Sisters
He Over-looked Me There
He Only Wanted To Harm The Others
With Me He Didn't Care

I Carry On The Burden
Of a Life That He Turned Blue
Now My Family's Dead Inside
I Wish He'd Kill Me Too

This Is Nothing Like How I Usually Write I Just Saw Alot Of Murders On The News Today...And Thought Why Not...

    Nikki --
Again, another wonderful poem you`ve delivered to the site. =D May not be of positive manner, but thats just fine with me. Depressing poems add a more interesting twist and depth to writing. I think you should keep this up, and not mush in to most of society ;; teenage love poems. This is really your style of writing. You do know that, don`t you? =D
    Great job, love. 5/5

    Love much,

Woah.. really amazing poem. You use words really well, describing everything and making it easier for me to imagine it happening. I love how in the end it was her dad who was the murderer. Really great poem. I will definately read more of yours. Keep up the great work.
