You will never know

A little girl sat down
and cried her day away
not knowing what to do
not knowing what to say
she just saw the worst thing
her best friend die
she was only 10
and already she had to cry
that image still plays in her head
three years later
she thought she would be fine
she didn't think it would haunt her
the car served
almost killing her
he pushed her out of the way
he look at her one last time
and only had this to say
don't forget me
and Ill always love you
she said ill never forget
please my words are true
but as she sits there
replaying this in her head
she misses him more then life
and wishes it was her instead
now this little girl is 13
her birthday is just weeks away
and still she dreams of him
and the last words he had to say
but as the little girl sat
and cried for so long
she realizes she's not so little
and her life must go on
so as she puts on a smile
and pretends she's OK
nobody notices it
that she's faking it everyday
with her newly put n mascara
her eyeliner on so perfectly
girls look at her and say
i wish that was me
but they don't see past the sleeves
as she goes to the bathroom to cut
they don't hear her cries
for the door is sound proof and shut
this little girl is back at that road
where her friend died
3 days before his birthday
everyday another tears is cried
he was her one true friend
nobody loved her more
nobody other then him knew
what went on behind that door
now she hates god
and shes yelling at the sky
"i have no reason to live
you let my best friend die"
now this little girl
falls to an eternal sleep
hoping nobody will notice
so no one ill weep
but these tears
she would never show
and she doesn't want to be here anymore
but all of this you will never know
