Walk on home

by arunima gautam   Jun 27, 2006

Show me the light because I am traveling on a way unknown,
Show me the path because I don't know where to go.
Black clouds color over the sky, as they slowly amass,
I walk on with the only hope that this shall too pass.

Your love, your caress pulls me,
And this eternal light burns within.
You ask, "What you have to fear, when true love cast them away?"
"Just walk on home honey, my sweet peaches, because the night will show up the day"

Just one word and my world has changed,
Suddenly a peace descends upon my face.
The rage of the rivers have calmed down,
As I slowly feel the heat of your embrace.
Whispers of a sweet sensuality plays upon my ears,
Because I have braved the strongest of the storms out there.

I confess I couldn't be here,
With a pure devotion so rare.
If you hadn't held my hand all through, and shown me the way,
Yes, I will walk on home my love,
Just to give my soul away.

I will walk on home, I sure will,
Just to make me feel safe.
To feel this is mine forever, to spend this night beside you,
Believing I will see another day.

WOW - amazing, you are very talented.
some spelling mistakes, but i loved the words that you used, like you chose them because they meant something to your heart not because they fit perfectly.

    very well done.

b.t.w - thanx for all the comments. :)
