An Angel Named Liz

Even though I've never met her
I still know who she is.
I've only seen her once before,
this angel's name is Liz.

a little girl just three years old
was looking out the window,
she sees something on a cloud,
something she sorta knows.

a face like hers
and a soft sweet smile,
long wavy hair
and beauty to last for miles

her dress was pure white
and blowing in the wind
oh what that the little girl would do
just to see her again.

on the cloud was an angel,
also known as my sister.
I wish I could've known
to tell her that i missed her.

she was born premature
she never had a chance
I would give up everything in the world
just to get another glance.

even though I've never met her,
I still know who she is.
I've only seen her once before,
my sister's name is Liz.

For my sister who died a year before I was born!
