Left

What makes us different?
Everyday people meet other people,
while some are just cast aside,
and still everyone points out that we're different

This bothers some people, that we are different,
because nobody listens to them anymore.
They scream and yell but no one hears them,
who said we have to care that we're different

"I am never too different,
I will always listen even when I am gone,
would you miss me if I died tomorrow?"
I never got to answer that, I stopped being different.

She never liked being different.
That's what they told me at the funeral home.
She was my best friend because we were different,
but she never gave life a chance, and only her words are left
