Where the Dead Walk

by InpiredbyEverything   Jul 15, 2006

A prince and princess walk among
the living and dead,
they had a love, they lost a love
where they forever shine.

"Oh princess of a Hallows Eve,"
said the prince one day,
"What happened to our sacred love?"
A tear streaked down his face

"You met me on that Hallows Eve,"
she said with dying grace
"Come to me tomorrow said you,
but you weren't there that day."

"I came," said he, "but you dear lass,
was never to be seen,
I missed you, I called you, and oh I wished,
that you would come to me."

"Oh prince of glorious Christmas Eve,"
said the princess one day,
"What happened to our sacred love?"
A tear streaked down her face.

"You met me on that Christmas Eve,"
He said with dying charm.
"Come to me tomorrow said you,
but you weren't there that day."

"I came," said she, "but you dear lad,
was never to be seen.
I missed you, I called you, now i know
you said not what you meant."

He took a knife, she took a knife,
and then, right there, they knew,
That they shall never love again,
and took each other's life.

A prince and princess rest among
not the living, but the dead
they had a love, they lost a love
and repeat the still untold.
