Take a Look

by Lithium   Jul 6, 2006

Blood escapes from deeply cut wounds,
The darkest of reds appears,
When your smile is twisted,
And face smeared with tears,

When there's no one there,
To disguise your faults,
Wrap yourself up in lies,
Slowly forming your own cult,

The blades in which you sleep with,
The nails you lye on,
Each night they dig deeper,
The heart hast been won,

The things you use,
For a last resort,
Learning so quickly,
You have been well taught,

Not standing the thought,
Of clear skin,
You scar yourself again,
Sin after sin,

Scissors, blades, glass, knifes,
They all work a wonderful treat,
I'll keep waiting for you,
To die at my feet,

The rose it weeps to the undying night,
It's our last goodbye,
One last kiss to depart,
Sweet lips were never mine.
