Bloodline Painting

Thick red flows,
From my black veins,
Sending a message,
To all of my pains.

New scar, ran deep,
Brands my soul,
I belong to you,
That was my goal.

Cool blade runs,
Across abused heart and mind,
I'll show them what they did,
By what's left of me they find.

This mark shows my love,
My intentions, and devotion,
And it's all backed up,
By the purest of emotion.

Branded, self scarred,
With no sense of fear,
With desire for you,
To always be near.

Forever found needing,
The love you possess,
Your soft skin and deep eyes,
I need you, no guess.

Always found craving,
The taste of your kiss,
The warmth of your blood,
Oh yes I want this.

Since lust is a sin,
Then I'll burn in Hell,
If God was real,
You all would as well.

I pledge to retain,
This brand like mark,
To never look back,
To stay with you in the dark.

    Hmmm....I guess there's something that draws the reader in but at the same time something's missing. Not exactly like awesome or astonishing but still some really interesting word play that worked with the flow. Some really great imagery. But well not really great. There were some cool lines and the last stanza stood out far more than the others.

    Awsome! I love it, it kinda got my attention on some parts. I love your writes! Their awsome, and I respect your skills. I'm still not as good as you,..but I try, lmfao. And like your profile said, it means something to you, and that's all that matters. True. I know my poems mean something to me, and obviously others too. So I can tell you ya got a bonus, cause I can relate ( Realate? I don't know) to some of your poems. And some of them just kill me, their so good. So I'll tell ya right now, you deserve a 5.0 and higher here! Some people just don't know how good you are, so I have a guess that you'll somehow, sometime in life, publish something on a higher level than a website! So good luck! 5/5
