Confusion

by Shawna   Jul 10, 2006

This is another poem I wrote when I was 15 or 16. It's different, and you might not understand it at all, but at the time it made a lot of sense to me!!

**Confusion**

The sickness overwhelms my soul,
As I cry in confusion.
As I wonder if you will stay,
The reality brings me down.
What will the future bring,
To my fears and unshown love?
Will I be another lost soul,
Or will you reach out and take my hand?

The silence moves in shadows,
Confusion and sorrow bringing tears.
Will I be lonely all these years?
A small child cries for her father,
Only to find there is no one there.
Runaway from responsibility.
Runaway from commitment and .love.
Confusion corrupted us all.

Wow, this one was great. I liked the rhymes. They reminded me of a band called The Ataris, they use to have cool rhymes like yours. Good stuff.
