Ever Seen the Light

by Jamin Huchingson   Jul 11, 2006

Ever seen the light
Been in a fight; had the choice
Between wrong and right

But didn't choose the latter
Like nothing really mattered
So you pull a gun, but didn't figure
Anything would come from pullin' the trigger

Didn't think of the consequence
We're all connected
In a situation so tense
You have to think, and be selective

Ever seen the light
And a choice comes along
Between right and wrong

But didn't choose the latter
As if every choice mattered
Holding yourself accountable
To every thing you select
Using your brain to reflect

Ever seen the light
Been in a situation so tight
Holding on for dear life

Didn't think of the repercussions
Of others discussions
Even the notion
Of my emotions

Ever seen the light; a beam; a glow
When you have a choice
Listen to your inner voice
We're all connected
Every option has to be reflected

Truth can shine a light and it is a personal choice.

That poem has really good meaning and depth. It sounds like it would be lyrics to a song.
