Heavens Lady

by Poetically Speaking   Jul 13, 2006

For my girl.

Her Beauty shines amber Hues of white,
such devine radiance hinders dark feelings,
yet still lost am I without site.
For the lite footed lady clad in angels hair,
she has stolen my heart and my senses,
my breath is lost,
oh how nothing can compare.

Heavens lady of mine,
how pure and sweet,
with but a mere word and a laugh,
she swept me off my feet.

Not then to now,
or ever in my mind,
has another maiden wispered such sweet words so devine.

And when it is heard that a tear has fallen from her eye,
heaven seems to stop as angels begin to cry.
For no man on earth,
or in heaven above,
knows the true lasting beauty of my fair love....
