Candle

by Yrem Crish   Jul 14, 2006

Every night you always there at the dark,
to share your light in my heart;
you still standing at my table
until the dark night blurred.

You are like a moonlight
that shining at my darksight
you keepin' to comfort me
I am alone and you near to see.

Candle, a flame to the darkness in my heart
you teach me to conquer the battle of my life
you let me feel to see
to rise and set my heart in free.

When I'm bended my knees
close my eyes and pray
you always there at my altar
to shine in front of me like a star.

We keep company to each other
in the darkness of my life I need your care;
Your light that you need to share
Until the daylight, please keep me with you forever....

    I like idea of that person being your light and how I can feel the tone of your voice even though I haven't heard it.

    But I feel that this piece still has a room for improvement. Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading it.
