Dark Betrayal

by Genevieve   Jul 15, 2006

Around, all around, the sinister creatures gather.
My dread grows as doom's scythe falls against my naked soul.
It smites me, and darkly my blood drips
to the cold, uncaring tombstones.
In abject fear i fall limply
while death's shadow hovers close.
Now alone, my supplication falls upon darkened eyes.
This is because of you.
