Daddy's Little Girl

by Tainted Beauty   Jul 15, 2006

What happened to us?
We used to do everything together,
It seems I never see you anymore,
And we’re always mad at each other,

I remember growing up, with you,
Teaching me to skate and ride my bike,
Now all it is; door slamming and screaming,
Now, all we do is fight,

What happened to the winter days?
When you’d take me sliding on the airport hill,
What happened to cleaning my cuts,
And helping me on my bike when I fell?

What ever happened,
To drying my tears as they fell from my eyes,
What happened to tucking me into bed,
And wishing me goodnight?

What happened to loving me,
More than anything in the world,
And what ever happened,
To daddy’s little girl?
