Clouds Overhead

by Macabre   Jul 17, 2006

Sorrow seems to follow you,
like a pack of widowed wolves.

Pain starts to consume you,
receiving attention like loud noises.

Love begins to confuse you,
as anything else would probably to.

Feelings in you cease to exist in you,
and you shut everyone out with a door of cold metal.

Anguish starts to muddle your thoughts,
like the rain- finding where to land.

Forward becomes an obstacle to you,
because you can't just move on.
Like the clouds in the sky,
you hang around a bit,
and watch the world move on without you.

After they leave,
you try to catch up,
but there's no use trying.
You're left behind,
waiting on the curb,
better just lay down- start dyin.
