Reflections in the Water

by Macabre   Oct 13, 2006

Discovery, a magical star bright,
Joy, living a homespun life so happy,
No plan today, her soul takes off in flight.
Self content, is my lovely Natalie.

Putting colored shells into her pockets,
Magnificent colors her eyes unfold,
each one a treasure, taken to locket,
looking for treasure, in the deep untold.

Suddenly awake now, the daydreams gone,
lost within her young daughter's reflection,
and in memories of which she was fond.
Adorable, her hand-picked selection.

Eyes closed, lost in soft tidal melodies,
dreaming away day's time, in memories.
