Have you ever had a friend
Who you couldn't get off your mind
because they made you a little mad
or told you something nice

Have you ever been told a secret
that you knew you couldn't keep
but you loved that person dearly
and could never ever peep

Have you ever found true love
who you wanted to give your heart
you told each other of your feelings
and swore to never part

Have you ever wrote a poem
like the one I'm writing now
a way to express every thought
or to scream without out sound

Have you ever walked outside
and decided to start off fresh
to leave behind all bad memories
and only keep the best

Have you ever wondered why
life has to be so short
everyone wants to journey
but never can explore

Have you ever sat down
and wondered if life could get much worse
thought of every waking moment
laughed and said "Of course".

Have you ever had a dream
where something bad occurs
waking up covered in sweat
and knowing that it hurts

Have you ever had a friend
who denied you for something more
you know your jealous and you know its wrong
but they don't know your heart is sore

Have you ever sat alone
and cried yourself to sleep
you close your eyes as tears run down
wishing there was someone out to reach

Have you ever lost a friend
because they moved away
you promise to always keep in touch
but don't know what to say

Have you ever cut yourself
because there was nothing else to do
all the blood ran down your arm
as you thought of the hell you've been through

Have you ever sat and watched
Someone try to die
7th grade 2nd period
A really good friend of mine

Have you ever wrote a note
as you sat and cried
you wrote and wrote
telling the world about your suicide

Have you ever gone on a walk
with the girl you love the most
with every breath and every step
you wish you were more close

Have you ever spoke of Death
and finally realized
its all OK every things good
but its all a bunch of lies

Have you ever loved a girl
but couldn't tell her how you feel
you finally did...and became real close
one thing you knew was real

Have you ever thought of a life like this
and it makes you really mad
well so do I........EVERYDAY
cause this is the life I have........
