A soldiers chattel..

by Welshy   Jul 20, 2006

Look through the sight,
that crystal clear glass,
caged in by darkness from the steel mass.
precision and accuracy from the tritium glow
a close range night shoot,
and enemies will show,
as i move it into place just an inch from my face.

The classic bull-pup rifle,
a pistol grip in front,
the magazine right behind for an accurate hunt.
a solid steel butt-stock,
with a plastic coating guard,
a 20 inch barrel and a muzzle that is charred
charred by the fire
at the target it acquired

5.56 NATO,
The round that causes pain,
Wounding and injuring, thats the soldiers gain
tactical firing
thats what wins the war
every soldier learns this, right through every corps.
Soldiers win the battle
the rifle their chattel.
