Price of war...

by Welshy   Nov 19, 2006

Window closed,
curtains drawn,
emotion lost,
feelings worn,
silent moans,
weeping soft,
tears rolling,
greiving loss.

Stole away,
death had come,
crack of sound,
smoking gun,
bullet soars,
pierce skin,
blood splatter,
bullet in.

In my arms,
lying still,
blood flowing,
lungs fill,
eyes closing,
tears roll,
friend dieing,
empty soul.

War passing,
claiming souls,
taking lives,
achieving goals,
creating pain,
causing tears,
scaring soldiers,
making fear.

Window closed,
curtains drawn,
emotion lost,
feelings worn,
silent moans,
weeping soft,
tears rolling,
greiving loss.

    "silent moans,

This is one of those topics that isnt always the easiest to write about, but you pulled it off excellently. Its sad that the oppurtunity is even there to write about these kind of things. But your words ring true and hopefully everyone else can see that too.

    Take Care.
