A Dark Love

by Lithium   Jul 22, 2006

Chronically held blood,
The eyes that bleed,
Take down happiness,
Darkness it needs,

Like an apple to a tree,
Picked when ripe,
Taken away,
For a tender bite,

Deeper the blades,
Can now reach,
Hands stained red,
Not white till bleached,

Sucking the river dry,
Through my blue veins,
Never was a heart,
Till you came,

Broken in pieces,
One by one,
Shards of glass,
Makes life more fun,

Bring me down,
From this darkened high,
Wish me a welcome,
And soon a goodbye,

The wings they grow,
Ripped from my insides,
The timings now rights,
Goodbye, goodbye.
