Cry

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Jul 22, 2006

-I won't say what this is about, see if you can get it.

Cry as hard as you can,
Even if he is just one man,
He'll tell you what to do,
It's not up to you.
Cry your heart out,
Leave a shining tear route,
He doesn't care
That you won't share.
He'll sit and witness,
What you simply can't guess,
He'll hurt you and me,
Then he'll let us be.
Finally he deminishes,
After he finishes,
And leaves us to cry,
As our poor hearts die.

Tell me this is over,
Tell it's a lie,
Tell me it's a nightmare,
That made me cry.

So I am pretty possitive I know what it is about. However, I feel i have an unfair advantage. It is very sad but nicely written. You can feel the emotion.

There are a few grammatical errors in this poem you might want to fix, but besides that everything else is perfect! I like how this poems makes you think, a lot--I agree with Darien that it is more sad than dark, but it is a little dark and mysterious so I think it fits both categories---I think I know what this poem is about, but I'm not quite sure...I like how its mysterious and there arn't a lot of details [except for emotional detail-there is a lot of that] Amazing write!

"He'll tell you waht to do, "
    [I think you meant 'what']

    "He'll sit an dwitness,"
    ['witness']

    "Finally he deminishes,"
    ['diminishes']

This was a really sad poem. More sad than dark. It was hard to tell who this was about, but it seems to me it's like a Father figure. Sounds like God or something. Hmm, well it was a great poem, I'll leave it at that.

Aww this sounds like me lol. I can relate loads. I hate it when they do that. Well...good flow, and good emotion, even though some people might be clueless about it >.< I thought the rhyming was chosen well. Keep up the writing. 5/5 =) xoxo

I'm not quite sure what this was intended to be about, but that's what I like about it. It's mysterious and makes the reader really think about the poem. Another excellent job! 5/5
