I realize..

As i lay in the grass and feel the wind brush against my cheek
a tear slides down my face i realize how I've turned so meek
the days i had with you reflect in my eyes
they dance in my head along with my cries
the wind starts to blow harder then before
my body starts to shake with pain down to the core
i realize the wind has lifted me into the clear sky
i see you there you kiss me and say goodbye
the whole world stops i hear a soft gasp
i realize I'm falling and have nothing to grasp
i land with a thud every bone in my body is broken
all i wanted was to hear those three words spoken
as i lay there motionless and stare at clear blue
i realize I'm staring into the sky motionless and broken because of you
the clear blue turns to dark clouds that gather above
all this because of unreturned love
i feel something wet roll down my face
my broken heart beating at a slow pace
this time these tears i wont be able to mop
but i realize it wasn't a tear it was the first rain drop
a second later i feel the rest
they pound on me and my chest
i stare up at the rain thats falling
i realize then that the gods are balling
my eyes turn blank as i look at the rain filled sky
i close my eyes and realize that I'm ready to die..
