Burried in the heart

by Jordan Smith   Jul 24, 2006

I fell in love with a perfect stranger today, I loved everything he told me and kept wanting to hear what he had to say.

He told me that my journey has just begun, and not to feel like I have to give up after one battle I have not won.

He told me life is delicate in all its mysterious ways, to live it like there may not be any new days.

He told me no matter what happens, he's the only one that'll always be there, through thick and thin, this he made a swear.

He left as soon as a met him, but far he did not go, he went back to heaven, a place few people seem to know.

He left me with a scar, a scar marked in the middle of my heart. Though some don't know him, I am lucky I was given the chance, and one day soon in heaven, he will give me the honor of a glorious dance.

I liked the imagery in this one. It was sweet and kinda sad too. The only thing i wasn't keen on was the layout. I would suggest making the lines shorter following the punctuation then I think it would flow better.
