Concrete Rose

by Dana   Jul 24, 2006

Enter the snarled, ragged forest of Carnage,
where peril hangs from the trees,
where fresh blood appears
upon an already crimsoned thorn.
The stars will not save you from this place,
they are but ever vanishing fireflies
who won't fly back.
The night is bleak,
and the forest is full of anguish and terror.
Deep within the heart of the forest
lies a beauty like no other.
I advise you to go seek her,
go save her and she'll be yours forever.

Look yonder,
there's a slight glowing around that willow.
There she stands,
Lady of Carnage.
She'll lure you in with her beauty.
she's like a concrete rose,
beautiful but yet cold as stone.
She waits patiently for her first love.
You are overwhelmed by her beauty
that you seem to overpass
the bloodbath that surrounds her.
Your staring death in the eye
and you don't even realize.
She seduces you with her smile,
and of course you fall for her.
You lean in for the kiss,
only to feel a thorn going through your back.

you are one with the forest,
your fresh blood appears
upon an already crimsoned thorn.
A thorn of blood,
blood drew by many hopeless romantics.
