These Days

by Jennifer Dziak   Jul 25, 2006

Hello, sweet december, goodbye honest moon.
I am drifting away to beautiful hopeless june.
Don\'t fret now, Don\'t worry my dear friend.
All will become apparently worthwhile in the end.
Quiet down the boulders breaking down these walls.
These barracades of lies blocking out it all.
The users and the love must never come inside
No matter the price to pay, I can make up for in time.
I know how to win this war, I know what I need.
Intently watch my vein continue to endlessly bleed.
I am about to destroy my preselected fate.
My heartbeat is my motivation, running an incredible rate.
My demons are approaching, they enter against my will
Is tomorrow really a better day, or shall we hold today still?
No..no..no someone HELP ME- TAKE MY KNIFE!
Someone help! Oh please! Save my pathedic unwanted life!
Each event that\'s taken place, each aspect glaring at the blade
Each scar is a reminder.. each refusing to ever fade.
I guess on days like this, you can\'t help but leave it behind.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you- the darkness of my mind.
