You walked away

by Nancy   Jul 29, 2006

Written for Gregory

I saw you today,
walking down the hallway.
In your blue striped shirt,
khaki pants,
a prince in Broadway.

I couldn't help but stare,
beautiful child of mine.
You looked so innocent,
so sweet,
it brought a chill up my spine.

You walked by,
not noticing me.
I wanted to hold you,
talk to you,
but I had to let you be.

So you walked away-
down the hall.
I let you go,
tears are falling-
I let them flow

A speck in the distance,
nothing more.
You are the one,
that I love,
and adore.

Since I know what this is all about. I understand where you are coming from, it brings out emotion, feelings. It's like breathing in a feeling, which if that made any sence, it is a good thing. :) -Shauni

    Your looked so innocent,

    [You]

    down the hall.
    I let you go,
    tears are falling-

    [Broke rhyme here]

    A spek in the distance,

    [speck]

Now, I liked this poem since I can feel how much you like this boy.. Or that's what I got from it... But it was a bad poem; it was just a bit rocky.
