Finite words

by Michael D Nalley   Jul 30, 2006

Finite words express a thought
Of what is now, and what is not
Ever changing rearranging
Ideas that we have brought

Infinite possibilities
Woven into memories
Mysteries they unfold
As revelations told

A heart revealed
Or emotions concealed
Blessed or cursed
Or unrehearsed

Spirit's not still
Blood on the quill
Soul and heart
Not far apart

Words written to read
Beautiful indeed
Poetry it is said
Is forever red
