An autumn love

by arunima gautam   Aug 2, 2006

Wanna hold you close into my arms and feel the warmth of an autumn love,
Nostalgia of a cozy winter last time seems to have spread up above.
Wanna touch you once again amidst the heat in the fireplace,
Wanna kiss you with a passion untold, and lock you up in my embrace.

Wanna lie down in warm sheets on my bed,
And feel your love draining down my veins.
Wanna feel you close with the touch of your skin,
Wanna feel the mystique after a time in pain.

The scene so bright with blue skies and sunlight,
I think I am having a fever of fall.
I am falling, please save me this drowning,
Let me cherish the joys in things so small.

Like the bloom in the flower, the singing of a bird,
A love that will set me free, the love of my world.
When I see you under the sun, I run into memories,
Of a past unforgettable, of an unending journey!

Your smile that lights up my soul, your hair fragrant like the love in you,
A smoky morning awaits as I passionately make love to you.
These short nights of autumn reminds me of something old,
Strong enough to pull me back, never to let go.

Never to lose hold of this man in my life,
The one who shines so bright.
Of the one who's my true love,
A true blessing from the god up above!
